yeah had a bit of a project on the go for the past few months with our company shifting offices.. here’s some pics of how it’s all coming along.. first day with the entire crew working is this coming monday.. all things ahead of schedule at the moment so hoping it all pans out nicely..
As always, you’ll need to click on an image to link to the full size of it.
Eyyyy, I don’t remember Fonzy being so pasty? Shout outs to both Chloe I.T’s resident photographer and Calvin Klein.
earlier in the week when we finished the ceiling runs in the data entry area..
Here’s that same room taking a bit more shape earlier today after stuff arrived..
‘sort it out m8:
The new rack we purchased and installed for this office.. this thing kicks ass for so many diff reasons.
Main reason it’s badass is because while this thing looks like a laptop.. it’s actually the new racks KVM controller which you can pull out and use as a terminal for each of the servers. Straight baller shit.
Geeky storage space out the ass
New server room layout
One of our new meeting rooms, these are great to have handy.. we only had one in the last spot and it was always booked when you needed it.
Meeting room B
My new main desk area starting to take shape..
The new window..
Got WAN? ye.
Wish me luck for the rest of the week, it’s crunch time come Monday lol. Full weekend of work lined up..
Finally got my copies of one of the most exciting looking fighting games in a very long time!
Now the race is on! Gentlemen.. select your characters.. build your teams.. get ready to ignore gems.. and go hard!!! Hope to see many more of you over the coming weekend playing this game at the Auckland and Hamilton ranbat series! I look forward to building up for Melbourne during Shadowloo 2012 too..
Great news for fans of the Fatal Frame series, or the survival horror genre in general. The new Fatal Frame title for the Wii which was shown as being in development for the Wii from 2010 onwards has finally been given a release date for Japan.. and that is slated as June 28th 2012.
Although with the fourth game in the series not being released in any English speaking sections of the world.. this time around an English localization is also quite slim. However if this is the case you can be confident that Tempus and his team who created the fantastic Wii translation for Fatal Frame 4 will cover this game also.
I am looking forward to playing through this game even though it is just a remake of Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly.
Every now and then, a game comes out which by itself can make owning the console it is released on worth owning. This is one of those games, well if you are a Biohazard \ Resident Evil fan anyway. I only got it today and havn’t finished it yet, but from what I’ve seen so far it’s shaping up to be an awesome game and a worthy addition to the series. I purchased a circle pad pro for this while I was in Japan, and thankfully they are region free so it is working perfectly on my New Zealand 3DS.
I’ve heard the game is rather short and can be beaten in 12 hours or so, so lets see how that goes..
Yeah so the direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII dropped in Japan in December of last year, and about two weeks ago for the rest of the world. Alot of people didn’t like the first one due to it’s linearity, but I didn’t mind it so much since the game opened up quite a bit when you hit Gran Pulse in Chapter 11, and getting the platinum trophy in that game took me 133 hours to do on the Japanese version of the game so I definitely got my moneys worth on gameplay.
This time around felt better, there was plenty more to see and do in the sequel and it just felt like a more enjoyable game overall. It does however leave some unanswered questions which we can only hope get solved through DLC and not another sequel to the same series lol. I am really looking forward to the DLC on this game though, a Lightning campaign has been confirmed, and I’ve already got the Omega and Lightning fights in the coliseum which were pretty cool.
The Platinum on this game took a little over 62 hours to get this time around, so not quite as long as XIII but there was less stupid tasks like collecting an instance of every single item in the game which was pretty shitty last time. The worst ones this time were easily the unlocking the entire beastiary.. and also revealing 100% of every map and winning 10,000 coins in one sitting at the casino were pretty annoying too.. but hey it’s done so it’s behind me now lol. Bring on that DLC!
People who have been following gameplay footage of this game know it’s looking ALOT better than twighlight princess so far thankfully. That game was alright but all kinds of stale for a Zelda game really.
And below is a large image of what you can get if you pre-order this game.
It’s a gold zelda theme wii mote.. which has the motion plus technology built into it instead of the first type which was like a glove thing you had to put around your wii mote.
Also you get the sound track of the 25th Anniversary Live orchistrated concert they did the other night in the USA
Here’s the older trailer for reference sake:
I think the flight style and sheer size of the maps in this game make it look very promising.
Anyone else with a Wii looking forward to picking this game up? Probably one of the final major Wii releases, I’m sure they will continue to release kids games for it but this should be one of the last epics.
Could almost be worth holding out for a rumoured wii-u version of this game, I wonder.. I mean they did it with twighlight princess on both Gamecube and Wii..
Just released for PS3 and X360 is Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. This single disc contains:

Seriously though, go buy this game. You will not regret it even if you are not familiar with the series.
Easy 10/10, three fantastic games totally reskinned and HD’d up to play on your modern televisions.
So the BAM tournament I’m over here for is tomorrow, my pool begins at like 12pm or something but I’ll get to the venue earlier to get amounst it all and warm up (lol)
Wish me luck, god knows I will be needing every ounce I can get against Oz’s finest once again. Gotta love it though really. New Zealand’s Chun, signing out.
